What Are The Ingredients Of Triflex?

learn-more
GNC has provided customers with the courtesy of an accurate supplement nutritional label for TriFlex. Although this is often expected by consumers, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find accurate information about the ingredients for any nutrient supplement offered online. TriFlex is not strictly an herbal supplement, as it contains minerals and laboratory compounds, but it does offer nutrients which are intended to increase joint mobility and flexibility. So, what are the main ingredients of TriFlex, and how likely are they to improve joint flexibility and mobility?

The ingredients of GNC TriFlex should be split into two basic groups. The first group is chondroitin and glucosamine, which have been offered in large doses for years. These are nutrients which are required to grow cartilage and have been shown in laboratory tests to improve the health of cartilage over time. After all, only a diet which is rich in not only proteins, but also some degree of bone and cartilage from animals, will provide a sufficient amount of glucosamine and chondroitin. Since most adults today do not operate on this kind of diet, is a good idea for many to include glucosamine and contraction, or a glucosamine and chondroitin supplement.

The second area of ingredients for TriFlex by GNC includes two relatively new ingredients. The first is MSM. What is MSM? MSM is a form of sulfur which has been held by some scientists and medical professionals as a cure-all for joint and bone problems. Unfortunately, after many years of testing, MSM has proven to only be effective in certain cases of osteoarthritis, especially where associated with knee pain. Since legitimacy of some of the successes of MSM has been called into question, it may require more research in order to determine the actual effects MSM. However, for consumers of TriFlex in general, these studies are convincing in that knee pain, and most cases of osteoarthritis are improved by regular ingestion of MSM.

The third major ingredient for GNC TriFlex is hyaluronic acid. This acid is included in TriFlex as a relatively new ingredient, and has been recently introduced into major joint care supplements. Since it is a new addition, there seems to be a general lack of scientific evidence to support its inclusion in joint supplements like TriFlex. Hyaluronic acid is used by the body to regulate the inflammation of wounds. When a wound becomes inflamed, it is part of the natural healing process. Occasionally, inflammation gets out of control. Hyaluronic acid does not directly increase the healing rate of a wound, but rather participates in the regulation of inflammation.
